To help put an end to another drawn out Monday, two of Hip-Hop’s biggest names decided to make a few headlines.

During the final night of the Drake‘s seventh annual OVO Fest, Kanye West — the evening’s special guest (following Rihanna from the night before) — interrupted his set to engage with the crowd.

“Are y’all ready for this album?” Kanye asked, resulting in a somewhat confused reaction. “I wasn’t talking about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about Views.” Pausing for dramatic effect, Ye then pointed to a freshly spotlit Drake and asked: “Are y’all ready for THIS album?” And, if you’re really slow, Drake clarified, “are y’all ready if WE make an album.”

Well, are you? Are you ready for Views from The Throne a joint album from Pablo and El Drake?

Kanye mentioned it back in February of last year during an interview with The Breakfast Club. And back in April, Drake spoke on the possibility during an interview with Zane Lowe.

“I love Ye. He’s a really good guy. I grew up with him as a role model. Always given him credit for why we’re here right now. It’s amazing to be his friend… We can link with each other and discuss anything. Feeling a way on this or just leisure talk, we have a great relationship. I hope we get more music out. We were supposed to do a mixtape together—an album together. Maybe now we can get that done.”

Now that we know something is in the works, the real question is, will it be an Apple Music or Tidal exclusive? Or will Apple have cut JAY Z a check by then? We need answers, Sway!
