While the tragic death of A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg may still linger painfully in the hearts of many, but New York is determined that a flag will be forever waved in his honor.

Similar to Pumpkinhead in Brooklyn, it has been revealed that The Five-Foot Assassin will have a street in Queens named after him. According to OKP, Phife’s management revealed to the site that the intersection of Linden Blvd. and 192nd St. — where Phife, née Malik Izaak Taylor was bred — will be co-named Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor Way, with the New York mayor’s office signing the bill at City Hall today (August 3rd).
