James Fauntleroy – “Say Where”

blame it on Patrick Glynn August 4, 2016

James Fauntleroy is one of those artists who has albums worth of content just sitting on SoundCloud. Granted, the loosies are often demos and incomplete work he decided to throw up on the Internet, the Cali singer/songwriter often comes correct with a steady diet of new content.

Today, Fauntleroy shared “Say Where” — one of the brightest and most complete efforts of his catalog.

The song starts with strums sounding straight off a Stratocaster before James sings of spending a day soul-searching and exploring with a love wherever the hell she wants. He left a note describing the inspiration for the song on his SoundCloud:

“You’re always looking for something thats ironically been in your possession since the beginning of time – stop searching outside for inner things.”
