Despite the incredible music released from well-established acts over the last few months, it is always refreshingly enjoyable to come across music from upcoming musicians. After being welcomed to the sounds of Atlanta’s aspiring super-emcee Deante’ Hitchcock, the DopeHouse has been introduced to Los Angeles-based newcomer Jaylien Wesley.
A singer/songwriter/producer raised from St. Louis, Jaylien has co-written songs for the likes of will.i.am, Akon, Chris Brown. Jaylien also composed Kacy Hill‘s single “Experience,” which ultimately helped her sign to G.O.O.D. Music.
Jaylien now hopes to branch out on his own, recently releasing his debut effort Summer’s Over, and has given the DopeHouse the green light to unveil its first video for the fan-favorite single “We Fcuk.” The video weaves a tale of infidelity, but with a twist at the end. Directed by Stephen Garnett, watch the premiere below.
