The most recent Ocean’s Eleven and its subsequent sequels — the heist movies starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, the late Bernie Mac and a porous British accent from Don Cheadle — have recently gotten a spinoff titled Ocean’s Eight, and it’ll feature an all-female cast.

So far, Sandra Bullock (Michael Orr’s mom in The Blindside, among other things), Cate Blanchett (maybe you’ve seen Blue Jasmine or The Aviator), Mindy Kaling (Kelly from The Office and then Mindy from The Mindy Project) and Helena Bonham Carter (the women of your nightmares) have all been tied to the project.

Wednesday, Rihanna lead another list of actresses confirmed to join the cast, which also includes Anne Hathaway (the modern “I dreamed a dream in time gone byyyyyyy,” among other things) and Awkwafina (this girl’s gotta give her agent a nice seafood dinner).

Unlike the 2016 Ghostbusters, which was a reboot of the series, the new cast will somehow be related to the old one. How it’ll happen? We’re not 100 percent clear of that so far, as we are not sure of the characters (or actors) roles in the movie.

Rihanna has previously had acting credits in attempted summer blockbuster Battleship, This Is The End (where the slapped the fuck out of Michael Cera) and a couple other films.

It’s assumed Ocean’s Eight won’t arrive until at least 2018 given it’s still in the pre-production stages.
