Swae Lee — one half of the rambunctious Rae Sremmurd, who just dropped their second self-titled album — has plans to release a solo album in the future, he revealed in a new Complex profile of the Mississippi duo.

“I have eight songs right now that I feel like are candidates for the project, but I gotta make sure they’re all up to par,” he told Complex. The project will be called Swaecation.

Soon after Slim Jxmmi said “don’t be interviewing Rae Sremmurd if you’re only going to do half an interview,” Swae clarified that the duo wouldn’t be breaking up any time soon.

“When we say solo projects, we say chances for the fans to get to see us individually,” he said. “But we’re still Sremmed out. We might put them on the same disc—who knows? We definitely got different projects that we’re working on and tweaking.”

The younger Sremmurd has found himself an extra chuck of change this year, catching a writing credit on Beyoncé’s “Formation” (Slim Jxmmi said in the interview he wound up getting a credit on the song, too) among other lesser-known tunes, and a solo project would only help his individual paper income. But who am I kidding: these two probably share a bank account.
