This is what Grandmaster Flash did this morning, while on Hot 97’s morning show. Speaking on his associate producer role in Netflix’ The Get Down, he also opens up on the Theory of being a hip hop DJ and much more. Then he proceeds to give a history lesson, playing samples, break beats and everything in between.
Fans of the deejay, or those who have an interest in spinning, I would definitely suggest they all check this out.
