Carson rapper Reason is dropped his new mixtape, The Proof, this week. Most of the project featured freestyles over popular beats like “Panda” and “Drug Dealers Anonymous,” but one of the original songs came in the form of “Goal Digger” — a song dedicated to people who try and drag your aspirations down while beefing up their lackluster goals.
The song features St. Louis’ Joe Moses and A Roc. The three mainly point to women of Instagram who feel their follower and like count is what’s most important and contrast them with “what they believe the independent woman should look like.” Alright then.
