Today (August 29th) would have marked Michael Jackson’s 58th birthday, which unfortunately will not happen. However, instead of mourning the loss for one of the most influential musicians in history, many have taken to commemorating his life through celebration. Over the weekend (August 27th) Spike Lee held his sixth annual “Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson” block party in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and earlier today former Hot 97 deejay Mister Cee returned to his old stomping grounds for a tribute mix.
From his childhood days all the way to Free Willy and everything in between, the hourlong session is ideal for those who want to commemorate the King of Pop from their workstations. Listen below.
