Just as Labor Day began to slow down, Gucci Mane decided to drop a bomb on the interwebs.
During a Snapchat session Monday night (9/5), the recently-released rapper unveiled a list of artists he’s recorded verses for — including the almighty Outkast.
“I just did a record for Outkast,” Gucci said on SC. “I just did a record for Wayne. I just did a record for Boosie. I just did a record for Project Pat. I just did a record for E-40.”
Now, before I get hysterical about the idea of a new Outkast collaboration, I’m just gonna play it cool until I actually hear this mythical song with La Flare, Big Boi and André 3000. But, hey, 3 Stacks has shown up twice in the last month (on Travis Scott’s “the end” and “Solo (Reprise)” from Frank Ocean’s new album), so anything is possible. I’m just tired of getting my hopes up.
Regardless, WOPtober is shaping up to be something special.
