Scotty ATL – “Black Man” f. David Banner (prod. DJ Toomp) (Video)

“Black Man” came out on a couple weeks ago, but it seems like it’s gone a bit overlooked (including by us) despite its lineup — Scotty ATL, David Banner and DJ Toomp — and, more importantly, its content.

The song tells the unfortunate story of an everyday black man in America, like getting stopped by police on a regular basis then abused for simply existing. “I feel angry, too, don’t worry,” he sings on the hook before passing it on to the grey-bearded Banner to echo his sentiments.

It’s video is out now, and you can watch it above. Scotty and Banner walk the streets of Decatur, Georiga, with small clique of people as they rap the injustices black people face.

The song will land on Scotty’s upcoming Daily Bread project, which is set to arrive soon.
