Today has been a great pretty bad day for G.O.O.D. Music.
First, Kanye West debuted his Yeezy Season 4 fashion line during New York Fashion Week on Roosevelt Island.
Later on in the night, Yeezy put together a pop up concert — seemingly a bit more organized than his post-Governor’s Ball mob — with the likes of Pusha T, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, Teyana Taylor and others at the Highline Ballroom.
There is where he announced G.O.O.D. Music’s newest signee: Tyga.
And here we were thinking the name of the label had meaning.
Kanye obviously has a connection with Tyga, as his wife’s (Kim Kardashian) sister (Kylie Jenner) has had on on-and-off relationship (that started when she was 17) for the last couple years.
Genius.com posted a video of Kanye announcing Tyga as one of the new G.O.O.D. Music artists alongside Desiigner.

Tyga and Desiigner apparently already have a song together, as MissInfo points out:

Pusha T eventually took to the microphone to announce Migos has signed to the label with a management deal, according to XXL.
The Migos are still signed to Quality Control and 300 Entertainment for recording purposes, it seems. So this is kind of like Wale’s management deal with Roc Nation despite being signed to Maybach Music Group.
