Just days after being arrested for multiple drug and gun charges following a reported case of road rage and being charged with “criminal possession of a loaded weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell,” TMZ is reporting that “the D.A. has dropped the felony gun charge” against Brooklyn rapper Desiigner.
According to a law enforcement source close to TMZ, the “Panda/Timmy Timmy Turner” rapper was merely a passenger, and no gun was actually found. The report goes on to state “The arrest for felony possession of a loaded gun was based on what the driver of another car told cops, but the D.A. clearly felt that wasn’t enough” and that “the D.A. has also dropped the charge of felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.”
However, Sidney Royel Selby III is not entirely out of the clear. With an appearance set for court in New York today, he “still faces charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and menacing.”
