Tru Life was one of New York’s brightest up and comers in the 2000s, drawing the ire of Jim Jones and memorably having his MySpace page hacked in 2007. Unfortunately, he would be locked up in 2011 and his career would come to a standstill.
Tru, née Roberto Guzmán Rosado, would be released in 2016 and resumed his rap career, teaming with Rick Ross and Velous on “Bag For It.” That sing has now received a matching set of visuals, which has Tru heading to South Beach for some sunshine, thick-bodied women, nice whips and nicer times.
