With every week that goes by, Lil Wayne and Birdman’s relationship continues to deteriorate in the public eye.

Over the last two weeks, Wayne seemed to put a final seal on his and Baby’s relationship with “Grateful” — a response to his rumored “retirement” — and taking to Skip Bayless’ Undisputed show to say he’d never work with Birdman again, even if “the money was right.”

The tiff between the two, whose relationship has gone on for nearly 20 years and quickly developed into a father-son relationship, started when Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Baby for unpaid dues to Cash Money.

New reports make that amount seem a bit generous and forgiving, as TMZ says Birdman spent $70 million of Young Money’s $100 million advance from Universal Music Group on himself, according to Wayne’s lawsuit.

Birdman claims the money was spent on “royalties, marketing and recording expenses,” the report says, but Wayne and his legal team don’t believe it. It seems Wayne is going to get Birdman to prove where every dime Young Money earned went until the money is straight.

The saga continues.
