A few days ago, J57 and Maschine Masters released their second installment in their Sound Design sound bank kits.

The latest pack came stacked with 30, royal free loops:

“J57 Sound Design Vol. 2 picks back up where volume one left off. This pack is filled with 30 royalty free loops to bring an entirely new sound to your production. J57, being an emcee and producer (Method Man, Raekwon, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Large Professor, Joell Ortiz) was not only able to create something abstract but extremely usable as well. With this sample pack you get a chance to be different by skipping the typical soul and trap sound that everyone is chasing. Comes in wav format so will work with all major DAW’s and samplers like Maschine, Ableton, MPC, FL Studio, Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase and more. Cop this sound kit today and instantly break away from the norm.”

Today, the Brown Bag AllStar renaissance man is offering one lucky producer a shot at a possible beat placement.

All you have to do is:

  • Show proof of purchase of Sound Design Vol. 2 as an attached jpg or png; could be a screenshot.
  • Make/submit only ONE beat from Sound Design Vol. 2 — beat must use at least one sound from Sound Design Vol. 2

  • Submit to J57Contest[at]gmail[dot]com by October 1st, 2016 — beat must be an attached mp3 or it will not be listened to.  All submissions must be submitted to this specific email or we will not listen to it.

J57 will pick his favorite beat submitted and will submit to his rolodex of emcee’s he’s collaborated with. You can purchase your own copy of Maschine Master & J57’s Sound Design right here.

UPDATE: Since releasing both volumes of Sound Design (purchase volume 1 here and volume 2 here), both J57 and Maschine Masters have received numerous submissions of up-and-coming producers crafting their best work out of the loops provided.
