Cleveland rapper and Closed Sessions signee Kipp Stone follows up an ode to his hometown (“1833“) with “God Up,” a hauntingly booming tune about leveling up your social and mental status.
Stone takes on a heightened level of wiseness on the song, making sure he’s moving in a forward-thinking and beneficial way now that he’s seen what the snakes can do once you start improving yourself.
