Kid Cudi’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin was supposed to arrive tonight. But due to “minor sample clearances,” the album has been delayed. Cudi didn’t reveal its new release date.

However, he did say we’d be able to purchase “Frequency” and the Pharrell-assisted “Surfin” — which CuDi debuted at Trillectro — by the end of the weekend.

Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin will have features from André 3000, Pharrell, Willow Smith and Travi$ Scott when it does finally drop.

Have no worries, though — this Friday will not be lacking music. We’ll have new projects from Dave East, BANKS, Apollo Brown & Skyzoo, Solange Knowles, Bon Iver, Moses Sumney, and (most likely) others. The Birth Of A Nation OST also features new music from Pusha T & Meek Mill, Gucci Mane & Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and others.

Danny Brown and Blu & Fa†e dropped earlier in the week, too.
