Milwaukee Hip-Hop crew Rusty Pelicans releases some beautiful, new visuals for their single, “We Like,” in preparation of their forthcoming album Apartment 7. Throughout the years (spanning two decades), the group has played an instrumental role in the Midwest’s underground music scene — having toured, recorded, and performed with the likes of The Pharcyde, Run DMC, Eminem, The Roots, Black Eyed Peas, Jurassic 5 and Atmosphere.
In advance of their upcoming album, Rusty Pelicans are unveiling the visually striking video for their single. A beautiful summer day sets the backdrop for the Pelicans to enjoy some music and party vibes with friends; finding the Pelicans transitioning in and out of a dream sequence, all while trying to make a lasting impression on their collective muse: Hip-Hop, whom appears as a metaphor in the form of Margaret Butler of the seminal Milwaukee Pop outfit, GGOOLLDD.
