Tim Westwood unleashing old, sometimes-unreleased freestyles from the vaults of his shows in the ’90s and ’00s has become a Thursday routine. This week, the British DJ turns it back to the turn of the century when Mos Def stopped by his show, presumably still running off a high from releasing Black On Both Sides at the end of the previous year.

Westwood actually dropped a Mos Def freestyle from 1999 back in December, too, which the artist now known as Yasiin Bey somewhat referenced in this freestyle (“I just touched down about 5 p.m. today/making my second visit this year to the U.K.”). He may be jetlagged, but he probably spits free verse better than your favorite could.

Listen to the freestyle below.
