Marvel Unveils First ‘Iron Fist’ Trailer

blame it on JES7 October 8, 2016

Surely by now, most of you have finished binge-watching season one of Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix, right? If not, what the f*ck are you waiting for?!

Anyways, with filming for the next installment in Netflix’s Marvel Cinematic Universe-tied, superpowered series of addictive shows (which all lead up to The Defenders series) having wrapped up early this morning in New York City — and Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist) making his first live appearance as the show’s protagonist at New York Comic Con this evening, Netflix has decided to unveil the first teaser trailer for Iron Fist.

This first look of sorts was unveiled during the Marvel Television NYCC panel, led by Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb, and also included Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing), David Wenham (Harold Meachum), Tom Pelphrey (Ward Meachum), Jessica Stroup (Joy Meachum) and the Nick Fury of the “TV side” of the universe, ultimately tying together all four series — Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple/Night Nurse).

The brand new teaser gives us glimpses of Danny Rand’s training (including what looks like flashbacks to an origin story), his eventual return to New York City (where hopefully he’ll run in to Luke Cage at some point), Colleen Wing, Madame Gao, members of the Meachum family and more — while not giving away much.

Watch it up top, and do remember, all episodes of Iron Fist arrive on Netflix March 17th, 2017.
