Sylvan LaCue – “Best Me”

Returning back to Miami following the release of his Far From Familiar project, DopeHouse mainstay Sylvan LaCue returns with a standalone track for the Fall, “Best Me.”

A spoken word-esque song, the former QuESt speaks on essentially wanting to be the best version of himself that he can be, now that he is no longer riding solo in this world (he’s become engaged, and is thinking of starting a family with his fiancée).

“I wanted ‘Best Me’ to feel honest, straight-forward, & relatable,” LaCue says about the song. “I think all of us seek to be the best versions of ourselves. Even when we fall short. I wanted to confront things, talk about my headspace, & set the tone for my future in a way that any listener that’s tuning in, could effortlessly put themselves in my shoes as if they were the ones singing the song.”

Showcasing his production skills for the first time, LaCue the Loner’s tracks can be heard below.
