Back at the beginning of August, Apollo Brown and Skyzoo dropped “One In The Same” and announced their album, The Easy Truth, would come out almost two months later on September 30. At the time, they were the first to occupy that release date, until the likes of Danny Brown, Bon Iver, Solange and others joined them.

But nevertheless, the duo have their niche of fans who wouldn’t let this album get placed on the back burner, and the album crawled its way toward the top of the iTunes hip-hop charts for a time.

Now giving the album a bit of an extra push, Apollo and Sky takes you behind the scenes of the making of The Easy Truth, which was entirely recorded in Apollo Brown’s hometown of Detroit.

The first half of the 10-minute documentary had showed the two recording and making beats in-studio, while the last half had commentary from Apollo and Skyzoo as to why they made the project. (It was mainly pressure from fans all over various social media platforms.)

Watch the documentary below, and make sure to grab The Easy Truth on iTunes.
