It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from A$ton Matthews, but the L.A. emcee is back at it with “Coldest Night In Hell.”
After riding off into the sunset like a lone “Desperado” back in August, the Cutthroat captain returns with a gritty record that touches on the brutal “100 Days 100 Nights” tragedy that went down in his hometown last year.
“This track is the vibe of L.A. last summer during the ‘100 Days 100 Nights’ killings that took place in the city,” Matthews told The FADER. “I wanted people to feel the aggression and understand the evils.”
Produced by Velous, “Coldest Night In Hell” can be heard below. Check it out and be on the lookout for A$ton’s upcoming Chapovelli project.
