This year has been a pretty average year (in a good way) for Mayer Hawthorne in that he dropped a project, Man About Town. (He’s done so for each of the last seven years save for 2012.)
Last night, though, the Michigan soul singer surprised with his second project of the year called Party of One.
There are six songs on the project — three new songs and then their instrumentals. And just as the name indicates, Mayer navigates the music by himself.
