Following the singles “Kids Forever,” “Role Model,” the !llmind-produced “Big Brother” and “The End Game” featuring Allan Kingdom, Jared Evan finally releases his long-awaited (and first commercially-available album) The Blanket Truth.
“The Blanket Truth I can confidently say is my most evolved body of work,” explains Jared. “My usual routines, go-to techniques and ways of creating were different on this album. The actual title came from one of my favorite movies, I Heart Huckabees. It implies that the universe is one big blanket, and that every particle, every piece, is interconnected. I took that concept and made it more personal to me and my perspective on why things happen the way they do. A lot of the themes throughout the records connect my current present self to my past self. The universe is ever-evolving, and there’s no telling how big the “blanket” could get.”
