Born on the East Side of Oahu (Kane’ohe), buzzing local rapper Koins is gearing up to make noise, not just for the Hawaiian Hip-Hop community, but the world at large.
Known for his work with the Broke Mokes, Koins has recently launched a campaign to push his new solo album, Familiar Faces which unfolds the “story of life out here in the islands of a local boy chasing pipe dreams, women & redemption.”
The 15-track affair gathers some of the island’s best rappers, including Izzy I AM & Dae1 (of Broke Mokes), CNRBOY & Sire and production from Jim Hurdle, Chris Rockemwell & Magu The Dog.
