Donald Glover has had a better year than you or I, and that’s not debatable.
While he was quiet for half the year, he returned around the NBA Finals promoting his new show Atlanta, which is absolutely incredible and successful and got renewed for a second season. He also had a kid, which, yeah, is cause for anyone’s year to be better.
Glover also got cast in an upcoming Star Wars movie, which seemingly filled a childhood dream of his.
He also threw a three-day concert in the middle of the desert in California, where he debuted a new album that hasn’t been released yet.
That may end soon, though.
What we originally assumed would be called Pharos, the album upcoming album is rumored to be called Awaken, My Love!
It’s rumored release date — December 2 — has popped up in various stores around the world, including in FYE and Amazon Canada’s website.
While it’s tempting to go all-in on these rumors, I’m not believing anything until word comes from Gambino’s mouth or it pops up on iTunes December 2.
