KeKe Palmer released a mixtape earlier this year called Waited To Exhale, which she wrote and recorded over seven years ago while she was an upcoming star in the television and movie world. While it was technically her first project in four years, it was really just an unreleased project that she finally decided to let loose.
Last week, Palmer made an official return with Lauren — a five-track EP (with a feature from Dreezy) that she paired with a 16-minute visual for various songs on the project. It’s named after her born name and, as she admitted in the video, is an attempt at being her most vulnerable.
