Spotify has begun its expansion into other media forms, partnering with Genius at the top of 2016 to show annotated song lyrics and engaging in talks to possibly purchasing SoundCloud.

The streaming platform has made the jump into visual media as well, and have debuted an original series “Drawn And Recorded,” in which various music-related stories and urban legends are retold via animated shorts. The first episode stars non other than T.I., and his chance encounter with Scott Stapp — lead vocalist of the rock band Creed — that would end up saving the singer’s life.

As it turns out, Tip was in the same Miami hotel as Scott, when Scott attempted to commit suicide after a drug binge in 2012. Keep in mind that that wasn’t the first time the rapper saved a life; Tip once prevented a man from jumping off a building and to his death in 2010.
