Alright, now we can get geeked as hell.
Yesterday, Childish Gambino officially announced his new album, …Awaken, My Love!. And while we aren’t sure of its official release date, Gambino took to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show to premiere the project’s first single, “Me And Your Mama.”
He’s undoubtedly getting his Prince shriek on here over explosive, jazzy production. People from his concert at Joshua Tree in September there was little rapping on the project he debuted there, and “Me And Your Mama” is the first indication that’s true.
