Before his Legendary album arrives at midnight, Z-Ro shares one final taste.

Adding a fresh feel to an old school anthem, the Houston “OG” serves up some novel Southern storytelling with his melodic approach we’ve all been accustomed to hearing from Ro throughout his two-decade career.

On top of the music, Z-Ro’s cultural impact and positive influence on his hometown (especially building bridges between the community and law enforcement with Constable Alan Rosen of Harris County Precinct One), is being recognized by the Mayor of the City of Houston, Sylvester Turner, who proclaimed Ro’s birthday (January 19th, 2017) as “Joseph Wayne McVey Day.”

“In 20 years of making music, this is one of the biggest and most important achievements of my career,” Z-Ro said. “I’ve always proudly represented Houston and given back when I can. To have the city recognize that is so humbling. I’m very honored to celebrate Joseph Wayne McVey Day with y’all!”

Peep “OG” below and check back later tonight for Ro’s Legendary album. Pre-orders are available on iTunes.
