This collaboration between Common, Gucci Mane and Pusha T isn’t as random as one may think.

Common and Pusha are G.O.O.D. Music kinfolk, with Com being one of the earliest signees to the Kanye West-reared label and P currently the president of the imprint. And Gucci Mane has shown an ability to expand his ranges, working with the likes of Marilyn Manson and Talib Kweli in the past.

The three get together on the remix to the title track from Common’s eleventh album, Black America Again. Gucci and Pusha put their street-oriented raps to the left for some open and honest lyrics about today’s societal ills, bookending Com’s raps and BJ The Chicago Kid’s soulful wails. Listen below.
