Ta’East, a rapper currently staying in San Diego, has a new EP coming out soon called Ok I’m Ready. Over the weekend, he dropped a new song off the project, “Black Male.”

He used the song to describe the mindset of this singular black man in America, given his cultural surroundings.

“This is a retrospective look into the mind of a young black man learning his truths through trial and error while responding to the white lashing of the progressive state of America,” he said in a press email.
