Compton may be known as one of the roughest cities in America, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way in Buddy’s world.
The Hub City emissary, who recently announced that he will release his debut EP in 2017 under Pharrell’s i am OTHER imprint, has released a video for his single “Shine” produced by Mike & Keys and DJ Khalil. Despite that he lives in such a volatile community, he continues to hold on to an optimistic outlook on life. Because, sometimes, that’s all one can do.
Directed by Andy Hines and with Nipsey Hussle making a cameo appearance, the video can be seen below.
