I can’t imagine being able to fight through a year’s worth of pain that Scotty ATL experienced in just four weeks. Earlier this year the Atlanta native lost four close friends and family members in a month, leading to a heap of pain he let loose on his Daily Bread project.
One of the traumatic and soulful moments on the album is “Stupid Rich,” where he tells the story of loosing people close to him all while still surrounded by leeches and liars. He takes to the lonely streets of Eugene, Oregon, in black and white to visualize his constant stresses.
