Back in February, Khary released a song — “I’m Sorry” — where he freestyled over production from Swell. He like it so much, he put the song on his intern aquarium mixtape, which he released a couple months later.

As the song rolls on, the Rhode Island native dives deeper and deeper into a failed relationship, getting to the point of begging for her back after apologizing for not being the best match.

“Essentially me and [director] Deyo [Forteza] wanted to make something that would bring the cover art for the single alive,” he told Billboard. “We came up with the idea of using the changing colors of lights to reflect the emotions that one might go through during a dwindling relationship. The revolving camera represents time and we added the animations to add depth the concept.”
