AD Takes It Back To 1997 With His “Whoop Whoop” Freestyle

If your musical palate is, let’s say, more diverse than that of Lil Yachty‘s, then allow the DopeHouse and AD to take you on a trip down nostalgia lane.

AD’s latest musical offering is a freestyle over DJ Pooh’s “Whoop Whoop,” with Kam. The original, released in 1997, landed on Pooh’s album Bad Newz Travels Fast. The song itself is notable for being a diss track to Kam’s actual cousin, Ice Cube. Adding even more to the bizarre irony, DJ Pooh is a close collaborator of Ice Cube, even writing the 1995 film Friday with him.

Now with all of that said, listen to AD’s take on the West Coast classic, and revisit the original down bottom.
