Jalen Santoy’s biggest song, “Foreplay,” landed on SoundCloud over a year ago.
After amassing over two million plays on the song on SoundCloud alone, the Charlotte native offers a heap of new content diving into who Santoy is on the new EP, Charlie Eastern. The project is named after a rap group from South Carolina that his late cousin was a member of.
Landing at seven songs, Santoy never once runs short of confidence, highlighted on lead singles “Foreplay” and “Off The Glass.” He navigates the EP vocally by himself, but he gets help from Bink, Daniel Worthy and others behind the boards.
