Memphis native Drumma Boy is next up in Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette series, heading to Atlanta to pick out three records at random and make beats using them.
Drumma, who boasts the infamous “listen to the track, bitch” producer tag, picked out Bar-Kays’ Animal, Gideon’s I Gotta Be Me, and The Rough Guide To Psychedelic Cumbia — a compilation from the 1960s. It was a quick segment, but and interesting look into the heatmaker’s process nonetheless.
