The first release of 2017 will be the remix project of Jaylib‘s Champion Sound. The wildly popular duo of Madlib and the late J Dilla, the album — which originally released in 2003 — is widely recognized as one of the best indie/underground hip hop albums of all time.
Out January 13th, 2017, the first offering from the project is a mixed and mastered version of “Da Rawkus,” which sees an official release for the first time ever. Take a trip down memory lane below.
