The project itself is a constant picture of what is and what could be. It’s a depiction of love in many stages but most of all a sense of hope despite the situation. Each song has a light and dark side depending on perspective. I called the project MéVen because it’s a mix of my name and the term maven which means “one who understands.” Not saying I’m the end all be all on love, peace, and understanding but I do believe in it whole heartedly. And with everything I do, but especially my music, I try to share that little light with as many people as possible as often as possible.
