Kehlani took to Twitter the last couple days to give updates on her debut album.
We knew prior to the weekend it would be called SSS, though we didn’t know what it stood for. On Saturday, she said it will officially be titled SWEETSEXYSAVAGE.
Now, MissInfo is reporting her album will arrive January 21st. She tweeted the date “1/21/17” — a Saturday, unusual for an album release date — before deleting.
Maybe it was a typo and she meant January 20th, which may have been why she deleted it. And then there’s the chance the date meant nothing at all, and she just likes to tease fans.
But with Kehlani making her rounds of promotion across the pond and singles “CRZY” and “Distraction” doing well, it’d make sense for her album to come out at the top of the year.
Her last project, You Should Be Here, arrived April 2015.
