Paul Simon — one half of the legendary folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel and narrator to my first post-college-graduation emotional moment when watching the ending of The Graduate — released his 13th solo album, Stranger to Stranger, this year.

On it, there were two songs called “The Werewolf” and “The Clock” that have now been reimagined and merged by The Social Experiment‘s Nico Segal and Nate Fox and turned into “Stranger.” They add an additional layer of modern groove, melody and emotion to the originals.

I’ve got an itch that maybe Rick Rubin connected SOX and Paul Simon, after Nico and Nate Fox were at Rubin’s studios with the likes of Neil Young, D.R.A.M. and others.

Listen to “Stranger” below.
