Nature Boi, Brain Rapp and Ezko have so much love for the DC/Maryland/Virginia area that they cleverly named their group after each cities respective letters.
Dope Music Village (or DMV for short) just released their new EP, You’re Welcome produced entirely by Nature Boi, and although it’s targeted as a DMV record straight up and down, You’re Welcome also manages to pull regional sounds from other locales, while still achieving a cohesive sound that is completely their own.
And with Wale’s recent “comeback,” it seems the DMV is looking to reclaim their space in the rap game once again.
