In light of America electing a racist, xenophobic President, continued targeted racism against People of Color, a new Nazi party rising out of the shadows and the rest of our countries (and the world-at-large’s) problems, you would think that the pettiness in the music industry would cease to exist. Or at the very least, be put on pause in order to focus on the bigger picture.

But nope.

During a recent show in Chicago, Jeremih, for reasons unknown at this point, decided to take shots at PARTYNEXTDOOR, looping in the rest of the OVO Sound crew.

In a video captured by a fan, Jeremih can be heard shouting “PARTYNEXTDOOR and his crew are some b*tch ass n*ggas.” Following an expected crowd reaction, the Chicago artist continued “Now tell me that. Tell me what I said now. Now scream for PARTYNEXTDOOR now. Tell him to pay that fake-ass budget they’ve been pressing at night. Tell him to stop taking the crowd out the motherf*cking songs that he got y’all singing…”

Repercussions, however, arrived quickly, as Live Nation promptly pulled Jeremih from PND’s Summer’s Over Tour.

The Live Nation statement reads:

Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point of purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued.
