Ugly Christmas sweaters — the ones grandma might’ve given you and the ones you might’ve sarcastically worn to a party — have become a trend over the last couple years, whether it’s driven by sarcasm or not. The rap world, which is very good at hopping on trends early if it isn’t the one creating them, has taken notice.
This year alone, Nas, Run The Jewels and 2 Chainz have all made their own line of sweaters. (The latter has given thousands of them out for free, too, continuing 2 Chainz’s run for being one of the most philanthropic rappers ever.) The Roots have made some of their own in the past, too.
Next up joining them is Ghostface Killah.
Tony’s sweater are pretty pricy ($90), and they feature his signature hockey mask on the chest and the green, black and yellow sweaters are trimmed with the Wu-Tang symbol.
