Officially introducing himself to the masses with the success of his second project Hotel Paranoia, Jazz Cartier releases the loose track “Pree.”

While the song is self-described as “a token of appreciation” for those that have been instrumental to his 2016 success, Cartier’s song is steeped in dark and melodic paranoia. “‘Pree’ means to watch somebody and what they’re doing, more times in an envious way,” Cartier explains. “It started in Jamaica and we use it a lot in Toronto. This is just a vibe I’ve been on.”
