John Legend will perform the halftime show of the NBA All Star Game in New Orleans on February 9.
The announcement comes off the heels of Legend releasing his sixth studio album, Darkness And Light, which dropped December 2.
Last year’s All Star game saw Sting perform at halftime in Canada. Pitbull, Ariana Grande and others have performed in the past.
The All Star Game was supposed to be in Charlotte in 2017, but the NBA moved the game from the city after North Carolina’s controversial transgender bathroom bill that made transgender people use the bathroom of the gender that’s represented on their birth certificate in government buildings.
