Common, RZA & Snoop Dogg To Appear On ‘The Simpsons’

Remember the age-old adage from that one episode of South Park, “Simpsons did it?” It honestly feels like that, and with good reason too: the show has been on for nearly thirty seasons now, and despite the criticism it’s taken recently for a supposed decline in quality over the years it does not appear to be slowing down any time soon.

In January, the show will attempt to buck that stigma by airing its first-ever hourlong episode. The show will also be, what EW is reporting, a “hip hop homage to The Great Gatsby.

Alongside the likes of Taraji P. Henson and Keegan-Michael Key, Common, RZA and Snoop Dogg will lend their voices and likeness to the episode:

The episode will air sometime in January 2017.

This wouldn’t be Snoop’s first foray into a FOX animated series; he was on an episode of The Cleveland Show a few years back:
